For one of our ambassadors, we built a camper unit on a MAN TGM 18.320. This 4×4 camper, featuring a spacious 5.4-metre living unit, was fully customised to the client’s wishes. Following up on the previous tip: make sure to plan enough resupply stops so you don’t run out of food, water, or gas. By scheduling regular supply points, you can continue your journey worry-free. Always carry emergency supplies, like enough food, water, medical necessities, and communication equipment. Especially when you’re heading into remote areas.
A 4wd camper van is built to be tough, but regular maintenance is crucial. Check the tyres, oil levels, and other essential components frequently to avoid preventable issues on the road.
Travelling with a 4wd camper van often means coming into contact with remote communities. Always treat your camping spot with care: take your waste with you and bring plenty of trash bags to store it properly.
